Private Lessons
For intermediate or advanced piano study, there
is no substitute for private lessons. A student gets the opportunity
to learn piano in a one-on-one environment and receive personal attention.
Further, the student can concentrate on a specific musical topic,
piece or song. Private students are required to choose between a “full-time” or “part-time” lesson
plan. “Full-time” students must take at least 40 lessons
a year. On average, these students take one lesson a week, usually
30 minutes in length. “Part-time” students must take
at least 20 lessons a year. These students usually take two lessons
a month and lesson time is either 30 minutes or one hour. T.J. has
a variety of morning, afternoon and evening times available for private
lessons. Lesson times can be changed during the year due to schedule
changes or conflicts.
